Shanker Dev Campus introduced the Tribhuvan University's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2002. A four-year, 120-credit-hour object-oriented business management degree, the TU BBA is a new academic program at TU. It is an 8-semester full-time day program offered by the Faculty of Management (FOM) at TU, with an international standard duration of four years. The program's goal is to develop competent, skilled, confident, and self-motivated individuals who will be able to compete in today's enterprises.
The BBA program is a practical and beneficial way to get a business degree that exposes students to the realities of doing business in a global environment. The curriculum covers a broad range of conceptual topics and places a strong focus on practical applications that familiarize students with the general operation of organizations and their relationships with the larger environment in which they operate.
The mission of FOM’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Programme is to develop socially responsive, creative, and result oriented management professionals to fill up the middle level managerial positions in the rapidly growing business sector in Nepal and abroad.
Objectives
- Prepare students to take-up middle level managerial positions in the business sector
- Develop students’ skill in obiect-oriented business management capable of understanding and solving practical business problems creatively.
- Provide professional management education with a blend of computer and management information system courses.
- Prepare students to proceed onto post graduate level study in business administration.
Awards and Scholarships
- Each semester, the whole semester tuition cost will be waived for the semester topper, and two students in each section will get a 50% scholarship of the entire fee, as provided by the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Management.
- The student with the highest CGPA in BBA will get the Dr. GOVINDARAM AGRAWAL Medal.
- The Prof. Dr. MANOHAR KRISHNA-RIMA DEVI Medal will be presented to the student with the highest CGPA in Finance.
