Rampur Campus, a Tribhuvan University constituent campus, the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science's first Agriculture College. It was founded at Jagadamba Bhawan of Pulchowk, Laltipur, in 1972 AD. It was transferred to Rampur, Chitwan, in 1974.

ABOUT US

The Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) Rampur's Campus is located in Chitwan district, Nepal, about 10 kilometers south of Bharatpur, the district's headquarters. Rampur Campus' purpose is to develop and execute educational programs in agricultural sciences, such as veterinary and animal science, as well as social and other natural sciences, to meet the demands of Nepal's agricultural sector. It has sophisticated living facilities for its instructors, staff, and students, as well as physical and skilled human resources such as labs, production and research farms.

Rampur Campus was developed in different Project Periods (1976-1992) funded by USAID and World Bank I and II includes office buildings, auditoriums, faculty and staff housing, library, classrooms, laboratories, girls, boys and Post Graduate hostels with a capacity of 750 students, covered hall, sports and recreation centers, cafeteria, veterinary teaching hospital, farm machinery Workshop, dispensary, post office, nursery and secondary school.
