Admission Guidelines

Lumbini Banijya Campus runs classes in two shifts. The policies and criteria of admission are made clear to prospective students through prospectus, advertisement and even in personal interview. So far the college does not have a special policy for the enrollment of international students.

Eligibility:

For BBM/BBA-FA/BMS/BBM-Applied programs:

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least D+ Grade in all subjects of Class 11 and 12.
  • Students must have passed entrance exam.

For BBS program:

  • Students must have passes 10+2 or equivalent with at least D+ Grade in all subjects of Class 11 and 12.

For MBA -BF/MBS-F programs:

  • BBS, BBA or Equivalent in any discipline with a minimum score of second division marks.
  • Student must pass the entrance examination.

For MBS program:

  • Students must have passed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Students must pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The students are awarded with a number of scholarships. Both Merit based Scholarships and Merit-cum-Means based scholarships are available for students. LBC provides scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and to the differently-abled. Scholarships are also provided to students on a purely merit basis.

Scholarships available for BBA (Finance and Accounting program):

There will be biannual two section intake and each section will have 44 students. Out of 80 students 10% of 80 i.e. 8 students will be eligible for scholarship. The entrance topper i.e. LBCMAT will also enjoy the scholarship of 20% of semester fees only in 1st semester.Students shall have to pass SLC/SEE and 10+2 level of education from Nepalese Government/Community/Trust institution to apply for scholarship. He/she shall be a citizen of Nepal.

Students who are eligible and selected for scholarship shall be awarded with 50% semester fees waiver as scholarship. The scholarship is divided as 50% to Meritorious (Private and Public) and remaining 50% is applicable for economically unprivileged students (applicable only for Govt. and Community Institutions). Students shall have to pass each semester to enjoy the continuity of scholarship.

ABOUT US

Lumbini Banijya Campus (LBC), a community based reaccredited campus by University Grants Commission, Nepal is located at Devinagar, Butwal-11, Rupandehi. LBC has been imparting business and management education since its establishment in 2038 BS. To address the ubiquitous needs of highly demand-able courses of management for businesses, corporate world and government sector, LBC focuses on education excellence by enabling its students to achieve their high potentials and embrace successful careers as managers and entrepreneurs by instilling state-of-the-art management knowledge and techniques in an empirical and application-oriented learning environment. Due to adept human resources, state-of-the-art infrastructure, strong financial base and placement of pass-out students, LBC has proven as the best community campus among many others.

The objective of Lumbini Banijya Campus is to provide quality education to the students according to the demand of society that enables the students to develop problem solving, leadership and teamwork skills along with value of commitment to quality, ethical behavior, society and respect for one another. Currently, 4000 plus students have been pursuing their university level of education.

Presently,  with the affiliation from Tribhuvan University, the campus offers MBS, MBA-BF, MBS-Finance, BBS, BBM, BBM Applied, BMS and BBA-FA.

The mission of Lumbini Banijya Campus is to acquire and develop dedicated, industrious, qualified and socially renowned faculties for delivering quality education to the students to meet the objective to prepare academic leaders, managers and entrepreneurs for the future required in any social and business organization. The Campus is projected to pave the way for the advancement of the intellectual and social condition of the people of the community and country through the quality program of teaching, research and services.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all who have directly and indirectly contributed to Lumbini Banijya Campus to bring it to its present status. With its long history and wide experience, the Campus has evidently stood as the most reputed and excellent center for management education. The Campus Management has tirelessly been working to address the academic demands of the students, teachers, guardians and social institutions through prompt management and administrative activities.

As a part of continuous improvement and upgrading, the campus has achieved re-accreditation from University Grants Commission, Nepal. It is currently in the processes of re-engineering all the operation systems to ensure much better education and to increase operational efficiency under the autonomous execution.

At this juncture, I, as the chairman of the campus management committee, assure you that my foremost focus Mr. Moti Lal Pandey is to achieve the vision of the Campus to develop it to a Deemed University.

Dear well-wishers,

It is a great pleasure for me to extend my warm gratitude to all concerned personalities and institutions that made the heart-and-soul effort to upgrade Lumbini Banijya Campus to the first UGC accredited one in the fifth province of Nepal and I am really proud to share with you that Lumbini Banijya Campus has been re-accredited by University Grant Commission, Nepal on 17th June, 2018 for its excellent performance in a Institutional Accreditation Award Ceremony organized by University Grant Commission, Nepal in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.

This evidence of quality education that comprises practicality and research orientation anticipates the only center of management education to be acknowledged nationally in few years to come. In its glorious journey of thirty seven years, the campus has added remarkable achievements one after the another. The unwavering trust of the community and welfare institutions always inspires the administration and the academic team to confidently move ahead for the further progress. Research oriented, qualified, experienced, dedicated and technically equipped faculties readily share knowledge to the enthusiastic young minds. To meet the demands of the learners, guardians and the market, the campus has run various disciplines of management such as MBA, MBS, BBS, and BBM. It is planning to run BBA, BIM and MBM, all semester based programs, in the nearest future.
