The course in Hotel Management promises a bright future for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. The student opting to join a hotel management course must have an affinity for the word ”socialization”, understanding the needs of people or guests. As the hotel industry falls under the service sector, the primary objective of the hotel management course is to deliver the best service to its guests. Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) offers a blend of theoretical and practical training. The duration of the course is four years, divided into eight semesters, for a total of 144 credit hours.
Students are given hands-on training experience to enable them to handle any department of the hospitality industry, where they can apply their theoretical learning in real-life situations and develop their skills, inspiration, and knowledge, ultimately becoming successful managers and entrepreneurs. Leaders and managers are made aware of every operating section of the hotel, like Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage Service, and Food Production.
Candidates seeking admission in the college must pass the entrance tests of Purbanchal University as well as the college’s group discussion and interview. The final and ultimate decision regarding the admission is taken by the admission committee.
