BIM is a multi-faceted discipline that focuses on both Information Technology and Management. It is an undergraduate academic degree requiring four years of study to acquire it. This degree is a hybrid program of management and information theory courses. It has 72 credit hours of information technology, 27 credit hours of management courses, and 27 credit hours of analytical and support courses. It was initiated by Tribhuvan University in 2000, this course is offered only in a few accountable colleges in Nepal.

Why BIM?

To be IT Professionals proficient in the use of computers and computational techniques, in order to develop effective information systems, to solve real-life problems in the organizational milieu, develop skills in object-oriented software design methods and data management systems. BIM provides professional training to students by combining information technology with managerial skills. It prepares students to proceed on to post-graduate level study in information management within and outside the country.
