Admission Guidelines

Eligibility for Six Months Training on Psycho-social Counseling:

  • Students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent course are eligible to apply.

Application Procedure for Six Months Training on Psycho-social Counseling:

Interested candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent are requested to apply with the following documents:

  • Mark-Sheet, Character certificate and Transcripts of SLC/10+2;
  • 2 passport size photo of the student;
  • A copy of citizen certificate.

Eligibility for Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Counseling Psychology:

CPSSC College follows the admission guideline and criteria provided by Tribhuvan University. Students who have cleared Bachelor's degree or equivalent can apply for the course. CPSCC facilitate direct admission and requires no entrance test.

Counseling Psychology and Social Studies College (CPSSC) is located at Buddhanagar, Kathmandu. The college that has been providing quality education to develop skills and knowledge to understand people, problems and identifying solution using different approaches. 

Established in 2006 A.D, CPSSC is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. CPSSC is committed to providing the highest quality educational experience to current and future psychologists and mental health and counseling professionals.

The application of psychology helps not only to identify the potentialities and strengths of the individual but also to aid nature of life challenges, ability to meet them, presumed causes of psycho-social problems and their assumed solution.

Counseling Psychology and Social Studies College (CPSSC) enhance and leverage student's skill by delivering numerous training from the experts of Nepal as well as from different countries on subject matter related to psychology, sociology, social work, education, culture, and national development.

Besides, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Counseling Psychology course, CPSSC also provides short-term counseling skills development training. Currently, it provides six months Psycho-social training course that is designed to provide general counseling skills relevant to professionals or voluntary workers in helping the relationship with others including social mobilizers, health practitioners, teachers, nurses, and social workers. 

The course is based on recommended text and the experiences of the group. Core tutors are psychologists, practising counselors, teachers, and social workers involved in different human service professional fields. The training package is to provide basic knowledge and skills in counseling.
