Central Department of Buddhist Studies is located in Tribhuvan University Central Campus, Kirtipur. It is established in 2002 AD to promote Buddhism studies in this Himalayan Nation, a birth place of Lord Buddha.
It offers semester-based Masters in Arts (MA) program in Buddhist Studies with an enrolling capacity of 30 students.
