Parliamentary Service officials' salaries will stay the same for the third year in a row. In his budget speech on May 28, 2024, Finance Minister Barsa Man Pun announced no salary or benefit increases for government employees, including Parliamentary service officials.
In the fiscal year 2079/80, a 15% increase has been applied to the salaries of all government officials, extending to those serving in the Parliamentary Service.
The highest recorded salary among Parliamentary Service Officials is Rs. 66,960, and the lowest is Rs. 27,216. Other officials fall in the middle of this salary bracket.
