Grade 1 Admission Notice of St. Xavier's School, Jwalakhel

ST. XAVIER'S SCHOOL, JAWALAKHEL KATHMANDU, NEPAL announces notice regarding the admission process for Class 1 for the academic session 2081. 

1. Online form distribution date: Chaitra 12, 13, and 14, 2080 (March 25, 26 & 27, 2024)
2. Physical presence for form distribution date: Chaitra 14, 2080 (March 27, 2024); Time: From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
3. Document submission and screening date: Chaitra 16 and 17, 2080 (March 29 & 30, 2024)' Time: From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Attendance of students and parents is mandatory on the day of document submission and screening)

Random draw date: Chaitra 22, 2080 (April 04, 2024)

The random draw will be broadcasted live on national television at 11 a.m.

Procedure:

1. Students with submitted documents will be eligible for the random draw.
2. Random draw will be conducted only in the presence of the assigned groups of students.
3. The ratio of student selection will be 60:40 (60% male and 40% female). This ratio will be maintained within each group.
4. Students' age should be within 5 years 6 months by the date of Baishakh 1, 2081, and within 6 years 6 months by the deadline.
5. Students without proper age verification, adequate documentation, and those with suspicious documents or incomplete forms filled in the previous year will not be included in the selection process.
6. The date and venue for the random draw will be announced locally, and representatives from local government, municipal education committee, school management committee, and Parent-Teacher Association will be invited for the live broadcast.
7. After preparing the selection list according to the criteria (175 seats), a waiting list of 5/5 students from the general group will be published through the same random draw.
