National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Dean Office, Examination Division, Bir Hospital announces new admissions for one year Anesthesia Assistant course for the academic year 2080/81.

Students who have passed Health Assistant or Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing or Ophthalmic Assistant from recognized academic institution are eligible to apply.

Note

If seats reserved for the Nepal government or sponsors remain vacant, they will be filled by the successful candidates in open competition according to their merit list. 

Candidates employed by the Health Ministry of Bagmati Province who meet the qualifications must attach a pre-approval letter from the Health Ministry of Bagmati Province. 

Similarly, candidates employed by the Health Ministry of Gandaki Province who meet the qualifications must attach a pre-approval letter from the Health Ministry of Gandaki Province.

For sponsor seats allocated to the Nick Simon Institute, a nomination letter from the same institute is mandatory. 

Applicants under the Institutional/Private category must submit a certificate proving they have worked continuously for 2 years at the relevant institution and a sponsorship letter from the institution for their studies. Priority will be given to candidates employed at government institutions where the CEOC program is implemented.

The candidates' age at the time of application submission must comply with the prevailing regulations. 

Additionally, after obtaining the registration certificate, candidates must submit copies of their certificates from the Nepal Health Professional Council/Nepal Nursing Council and proof of at least two years of work experience at a government-recognized health institution.

Candidates from Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and institutional/open categories must pay the training fee as determined by the NAMS, Bir hospital.
