Anesthesia Assistant is a one-year course offered by the National Academy of Medical Science (NAMS). Classroom, lab, and OT-based clinical exposure are supervised by an anesthesia doctor. The course is opted by students who wish to learn about anesthesia equipment, anesthesia agents, techniques as well as dosage in order to ensure better monitoring of the patient.

Eligibility

Students who have passed Health Assistant or Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing or Ophthalmic Assistant from recognized academic institutions are eligible for the Anesthesia Assistant program.

Admission Criteria

Students must have passed the entrance examination conducted by the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS).
