Admission Open from Play Group to Grade 7 at Nightingale School

Nightingale School, a leading A-grade school in Nepal and winner of National and Regional Education Award 2070, 2071, 2072 B.S. The new admission for the academic session 2076 is open from Nursery to Grade VII. 

Application form and prospectus are being distributed from school reception between 9:00 A.M. & 4:00 A.M.

Entrance Exams will be held on 

  1. 9th Chaitra, 2074 B.S. (March 23, 2019) Saturday at  11 A.M. (First Shift) and 1 PM (Second Shift)

Important notes:

  1. Parents' interview is mandatory before admission of students.
  2. Parents and/or guardians of existing students of the school are requested to confirm their ward's continuity in the school by paying the annual charges within 7 days of final results.
  3. Choice of section will be made on the basis of first com first serve basis and won't be changed after they are specified.
  4. Only 20 students are kept in each section of the pre-primary wing (Nursery, LKG and UKG).

Silver Jubilee Scholarship Scheme:

Few outstanding student of grade 1 & 6 selected from the entrance will be awarded scholarship.  

Admission Procedure

Admission is considered on a prescribed Registration Form which will be provided with this prospectus. The Official Application Form must be completed and registered on payment of the registration fee. However, registration does not guarantee admission to school. Registration is followed by an entrance exams and interview. Admission is granted on the basis of the results of these examinations, interviews (parents and child) and also on the number of vacancies in each class. The school reserves the right to admit or reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.

Please attach the following documents to the completed admission form:

  1. Two passport-sized photographs of the child
  2. The child’s progress report (s)
  3. Birth Certificate
  4. Transfer Certificate from the previous school

NOTE:

Only the students securing 75 % or above in the second term are eligible to apply for admission to Nightingale. Toppers of the entrance exams will be awarded scholarship

Financial Rules:

  1. Bills will be issued on a quarterly basis i.e. once in every 3 months.
  2. School fees can be paid through e-Sewa online paying method or any branch of GLOBAL IME BANK.
  3. Transportation fee of NPR 2000 will be imposed per month. If the transportation fees for the whole year is paid in advance, two months' fees will be waived i.e. fees for only 10 months should be paid.
  4. Regarding other fees such as the tuition fees, lunch, hostel charges etc one month's fee will be waived if fees for the whole year is paid in advance. Payment should be made within Baisakh to get this facility.
  5. Please contact the account section of the school for the queries of the financial matter within the time frame of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

About Nightingale School

Nightingale school has been successful in making all the students pass with Distinction and First Division. In the S.L.C.–2061 B.S., students from this school secured the position of 2nd and 3rd Board Toppers among girls and 6th and 7th position among all. For this achievement in the academic field, Nightingale was adorned with S.L.C. EXCELLENCE AWARD by Everest Foundation Nepal. A student from this school succeeded in achieving the position of 1st Board Topper  in the subsequent year -2062 B. S. In 2068 B.S. Nightingale was honoured with Secondary School Regional Shield, National Flag and a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/- by the Government of Nepal on the auspicious occasion of International Literacy Day-2014.On the basis of SLC results-2071, this school was also ranked 2nd among schools all over Nepal. This ranking is based on SLC results and total number of students sitting for SLC exams from the school.

In 2072 B.S, Nightingale’s long awaited dream came true. It was declared “the best school” amongst all the schools in Nepal. It was honoured with ‘National Education Award -2072’ which includes secondary school national shield, national flag, certificate and cash prize of Rs. 2 lakhs.
