Admission Open for Master in Urban Studies and Master in Media Studies - KU School of Arts

Kathmandu University, School of Arts announces admission open for the following two master's level programs:

• Master in Urban Studies
• Master in Media Studies

Key Dates

• Deadline for Application Submission: July 30, 2024
• Entrance Examination: August 04, 2024
• Interview: August 06 - 07, 2024
• Announcement of Result: August 07, 2024
• Admission Period: August 07 - 17, 2024
• Commencement of Semester: August 25, 2024

Eligibility 

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years) with at least a 2 CGPA or 45%, and pass both a written test and an interview conducted by the Department.
• For Master in Media Studies, candidates with a minimum of 10 years professional experience in the associated field will require a minimum CGPA of 2 out of 4 or 45 percent.

Available Scholarships

• 10% seats allocated for foreign students
• • 3 or 4 years bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Application letter (motivation letter)
• A CV / Resume
• Copy of Citizenship Certificate or National ID or Passport 
• PP- Size Photos
• Transcripts (School level, 10+2 / A- Level or Equivalent, and Bachelor's or above for Master's Degree Applicants)
