Tribhuvan University Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) announces admissions for BSc Agriculture/Horticulture, and BVSc & AH programs, in affiliated and constituent campuses, for the academic year 2081/82.
Candidates willing to seat for the entrance examination are requested to fill the form online with Marksheet, Character certificate, Citizenship photocopy, and passport-sized photos.
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in the English, Chemistry, and Biology of 100 full marks and Mathematics of a minimum of 50 full marks or overall C+ Grade in 10+2 Science/Agriculture or 10+2 Agriculture.
For one program: Rs. 3500.
For multiple programs: Rs. 5000
The fee can only be paid online through the site: entrance.iaas.edu.np
Candidates who pass the entrance examination will be admitted to the undergraduate level B.Sc Agriculture/Horticulture conducted under the affiliated and related campuses/colleges.
As per the provisions of the prevailing rules, if there is a provision for reservation quota, other applicants besides the reserved quota students will be admitted to the reserved quota upon submission of the required certificates obtained from the respective authorities. Action will only be taken if the mentioned certificates are included in the application.
Admission in all quotas will be made according to merit order.
a. Disabled Quota: National Disabled Federation or the respective District Administration Office.
b. Indigenous/Nationality Quota: National Indigenous Upliftment Institution or the respective District Administration Office.
c. Dalit Quota: National Dalit Commission or the respective District Administration Office.
d. Madhesi Quota: District Administration Office of the respective district.
e. Tharu Quota: National Indigenous Upliftment Institution or the respective District Administration Office.
f. Other Quotas (Minority, Displaced, Backward Class, Sexual and Gender Minority, Economically Disadvantaged Arya): The respective Village Municipality/Municipality/District Administration Office.
g. Local Quota: The concerned campus will notify based on documentation. A 5% local quota has been determined in the annexed programs and related campuses/colleges. If there is a need for local campuses, additional seats will be allocated to the approved quota in affiliated campuses/colleges.
h. Staff Quota: The applicant's certified citizenship certificate and recommendation letter are from the relevant campus staff/employee or the respective campus. Regular quotas are not included. If there are more applicants than the specified number, in case of competition, if there is more than one dependent applicant from one family, only one individual from one family will be provided quota in one educational program.
