The Workshop on Research Proposal Writing has commenced for three days at Kathmandu Model College starting from Baisakh 19, 2081. The opening session was graced by Honorable Dr. Anjan Shakya, a member of the National Assembly, who served as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Upendra Kumar Koirala, former Vice Chancellor of Mid-West University and Chairman of the College Management Committee, KMC, presided over the session. Mr. Surendra Subedi, the college chief, delivered the welcome address.
During the session, the College congratulated Honorable Dr. Anjan Shakya for his role in the National Assembly. The workshop featured various sessions led by distinguished speakers. Prof. Dr. Upendra Kumar Koirala delved into the Anatomy of Research Proposal in the first session, followed by Dr. Niranjan Devkota, Head of the Research Management Cell at KMC, who discussed Working with APA Styles/Citation in the second session. The third session, led by Dr. Devid Bashyal, focused on Developing Summary, Conclusion, and Recommendation.
Wrapping up the day's events was Prof. Dr. Arhan Sthapit, the Dean of Management and Law at Nepal Open University, who shared insights on the Dimensions of Research in Proposal Development. The event received support from the University Grants Commission, Nepal.
