A group of passionate students from Padmashree College utilized their semester break to embark on a significant journey aimed at fostering positive change within society. Inspired by the 3CC event and driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, these students identified Sunaulo Bihani Cerebral Palsy Day Care Center in Pokhara, Nepal, as their partner for their noble cause.
Sunaulo Bihani Cerebral Palsy Day Care Center is renowned for its unwavering support to 14 children, aged 5 to 15, who bravely confront the challenges of cerebral palsy. Understanding the crucial need for support, the students aimed to provide both care and essential resources that might not be readily accessible to these children.
In their pursuit of creating a lasting impact, the students sought collaboration with the Lions Club of Lekhnath Garden City, a distinguished organization known for its impactful social work. The Lions Club graciously joined forces with the students, becoming proud sponsors of their social welfare program.
Together, with the support of the Lions Club, the students generously donated a range of essential hygiene products, including adult diapers, sanitary pads, soap, towels, and more. These contributions were intended not only to ensure the physical well-being of the children but also to empower the caregivers with resources that enhance their quality of life.
