The Hult Prize maintained its popularity this year by inviting participants to engage in the competition. The event aimed to address the question of why one should participate in the Hult Prize—an esteemed, annual competition that inspires university students to tackle critical social issues such as food safety, water access, energy, and education, offering a substantial $1 million prize.

On December 08, the registration kicked off, and within an hour, the hall was filled with curious onlookers. The program began with the host welcoming the audience from the podium, followed by an introduction and orientation session featuring distinguished guests who delivered inspirational speeches from their respective fields.

The orientation program started with the warm welcome of guests, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Indra Prasad Acharya, FSU President Biraj Aryal, Prof. Arun Timilsina, Chairman of the National Finance Committee Santosh Chalise, and Prof. Sashwat Karki from Laxmi Bank's Human Resource Domain. Their presence illuminated the hall, and their insightful words set the stage for a productive session.

Delegates from diverse backgrounds and sectors gathered to share their experiences and guide young minds. Their collective wisdom added depth to the proceedings, making the event more enriching.

The program commenced with an opening speech by Campus Director Aditya Pandey, followed by Startup Coordinator Rubika Bashyal providing an overview of the Hult Prize, explaining how to participate, and highlighting this year's theme, "Unlimited." Past winners' journeys and registration details were also discussed.

Prof. Arun Timilsina emphasized seizing the campus opportunity, encouraging confidence and active participation in every event. Stressing the importance of networking, he offered inspiration and best wishes to all.

Mr. Sashwat Karki began his speech by posing thought-provoking questions, urging participants to continually reflect on their existence and emphasizing the necessity of partnerships in the world. He motivated attendees to take small steps to contribute to Nepal's development.

Throughout the event, participants' questions about the significance of the Hult Prize were addressed, and explanations about sustainable development goals, workshops, and guiding principles were provided.

The formal event concluded with past Hult winners from Pulchowk Campus sharing their experiences from the Melbourne summit and software design journeys, highlighting the importance of mentoring.

The grand closure of the orientation program featured performances by participants, adding vibrancy to the event. The organizers' efforts were evident, and the smooth proceedings showcased the support from the Hult Nepal community, resulting in a successful event. Overall, the orientation program marked an outstanding triumph.
