In this episode, Mr. Gopal Prasad Acharya, Principal of Horizon Gautam Buddha School, reflects on his journey in education and leadership. After serving in a government school for four years, he joined the New Horizon organization and has been leading Horizon Gautam Buddha School since 2069 B.S. Despite his administrative role, he continues to teach two mathematics classes daily, stating that he takes greater pride in being a teacher than a principal.

Mr. Acharya recalls how students in the past relied heavily on teachers due to limited resources. Reflecting on the shift in classroom dynamics and evolving teaching methods, he emphasizes the need for educators to be better prepared and to deliver lessons in more practical and engaging ways, particularly in subjects like mathematics.

Mr. Acharya also expresses concern over the changing mindset among today’s youth. Many are more focused on earning money rather than gaining education, believing they can easily succeed abroad without the need for formal academic qualifications. Drawing attention to global practices, he suggests that universities in Nepal should invest in students' entrepreneurial skills and innovations, much like those abroad, to truly harness the potential of the next generation.
