The M.Ed in ELT program at Kathmandu University, School of Education, is designed to be completed within one year, with an option to extend up to two years. It promotes innovative pedagogical approaches that blend local and global practices, fostering lifelong learning through a holistic, context-based, and multi-method approach. Aimed at preparing teachers for basic and secondary education in Nepal, graduates will develop skills in current ELT theories and practices, conduct need-oriented research, create ELT materials, design and deliver training courses, and train pre-service and in-service teachers effectively.
