Following the approval of the Public Service Commission dated 2083/01/04, applications are invited from eligible candidates for the vacant posts under various services and groups within the approved positions of Nepal Water Supply Corporation. Recruitment will be conducted through open competitive examination.

Applicants must submit the application form along with certified copies of required documents such as academic qualifications, training certificates, experience letters, citizenship certificate, etc. A copy of the bank voucher or receipt of the examination fee deposited in Nabil Bank account no. 0201017500742 of the corporation must also be attached.

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the first publication date (with an additional 7 days upon payment of double fee) at the Head Office, Tripureshwor. Late or incomplete applications will not be processed.

Key Details

1. Educational Qualification

  • Must have academic qualifications from a recognized educational institution.
  • Foreign degrees must have equivalency certification from Tribhuvan University.
  • Training and experience certificates must be issued by legally recognized institutions.
  • Part-time experience will not be counted.

2. Professional Registration

  • candidates must be registered and have renewed registration with the relevant professional council.

3. Age Limit

  • Assistant level:
    • Male: 18 to 35 years
    • Female/Disabled: 18 to 40 years
  • Officer level (6th & 7th level):
    • 21 to 35 years for males
    • 21 to 40 years for females/disabled
  • Officer level (8th & 9th level):
    • 21 to 40 years
  • Permanent employees of the corporation are exempt from age limits.

4. Inclusive Categories

Candidates applying under inclusive quotas (Indigenous/Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, Disabled, Backward regions) must provide proof as per Regulation 6 of Nepal Water Supply Corporation Employee Service Regulations, 2081.

5. Examination

  • Written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
  • Exam schedule and centers will be published later.

6. Application Status

  • The corporation reserves full rights to accept or reject applications.
  • Only approved applicants will be allowed to sit for the examination.
  • Approval/rejection status will be published on the website. Approved candidates will receive admission cards from the Head Office.

7. Application Fee

  • Additional fee must be paid for each inclusive category applied.

Approximate fee structure:

  • Officer level (Engineer) : around 1,000
  • Assistant level ( Technician, Supervisor) : Rs. 500
  • Some higher technical/engineering posts may go slightly higher (around Rs. 1,000-1,300) range depending on level.

8. Important Conditions

  • Fees paid during the extended (double fee) period will not be considered for age, qualification, experience, or service duration calculations.
  • If the final deadline falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted on the next working day.
  • Courses, syllabus, and forms are available on www.nwsc.gov.np
  • Fee payment receipt must be submitted with the application form.
