Province Lok Sewa Aayog, Madhesh Province, Janakpurdham, Administration Department has published the seventh-level technical officer vacancies, to be filled through open and inclusive competitive examinations.

  • Application Fees:
    • Rs. 1000/- for Officer Level (8th and 7th level)
    • An additional Rs. 400/- for each subsequent service/group
  • Exam type: Written, Practical, and Interview
  • The examination date will be published later.
  • Exam Centers: Janakpurdham

Age limit

  • As of Mangsir 19, 2081
    • Male Candidates: Must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 35 years.
    • Female Candidates: Must not exceed 40 years.
  • For Engineering, Agriculture, Forestry, and Health Services, the maximum age is 40 years.
  • There is no age limit for currently employed permanent civil servants.

How to pay application fees

Online Payment Process

  1. After submitting the application form via the online system, go to My Application and click All Application.
  2. Click the Pay Button for the respective advertisement.
  3. Choose Rastriya Banijya Bank or Nepal Bank Limited under the bank option.
  4. Select Online Payment, click Next, and use Connect IPS to make the payment.

  5. Candidates can also use designated wallets for instant payment.

Offline Payment Process

  1. Choose Rastriya Banijya Bank or Nepal Bank Limited and select Offline Payment.

  2. Click Next and download the voucher by clicking the official website.

  3. Print the voucher and visit the selected bank to make the payment.

Payment Deadline: Application fees, including double fees for late submissions, must be paid by Mangsir 26, 2081.

Documents to Upload

Candidates must upload the following documents in PDF format:

  • Academic qualifications

  • Training certificates

  • Experience certificates (in the prescribed format)

  • Professional licenses

  • Documents supporting inclusion group claims

Additionally, upload the following in JPG format:

  • A scanned copy of the photograph

  • Scanned signature

Minimum Educational Qualifications

(A) For Health Services and Other Services (Technical/Non-Technical) – Officer (7th Level) or Equivalent Positions (Service, Group, Sub-Group):

Candidates must not be disqualified under Section 16 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2077, and must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  1. Administration, General Administration/Revenue: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  2. Engineering (Civil, General): Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  3. Engineering (Civil, Sanitary): Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Or, Public Health Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  4. Forestry (General Forestry): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Forestry, focusing on subjects such as Silviculture, Forest Resource Measurement, Forest Conservation, Forest Research, Forest Management, or Wildlife Conservation (minimum three subjects).

  5. Forestry (Soil and Water Conservation): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Soil or Water Conservation, Watershed Management, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, or Forest Environment.

(E) For Inter-Service Categories:

As per Sub-section (17) of Section 9 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2077:

  • Candidates must have completed at least seven years of service in a position one grade or level below the advertised position within the Federal or Local Civil Service.

  • They must also meet the educational qualifications required for the advertised position.

Additional Documents Required

Documents to be Submitted with the Application:

Candidates must prepare and submit the following documents during the application process. If selected for the interview, they must present the original copies along with self-attested photocopies:

  1. Certificates of academic qualifications.

  2. Training and experience certificates (as prescribed).

  3. Professional licenses.

  4. Documents for inclusive group claims.

Failure to provide these documents at the time of application may result in rejection at any stage.

Additional Documents for Inclusive Category Applicants:

  1. For Madheshi Candidates:

    • Certification from a designated institution, as published in the Provincial Gazette.

    • If the institution is not designated, the Chief District Officer verifies a recommendation from the head of the local government.

  2. For Dalit Candidates:

    • Certification based on the list published by the National Dalit Commission.

    • For multiple sub-castes within a listed caste, the Chief District Officer verifies a recommendation from the local government.

  3. For Muslim Candidates:

    • Certification based on the list published by the National Muslim Commission.

    • The Chief District Officer verifies a recommendation from the local government for multiple sub-castes within a listed caste.

  4. For Persons with Disabilities: A disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council or a classification certificate issued by the local government under Sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.

Important Notes

  1. Experience Requirement: Candidates requiring minimum service experience must have completed the service duration by the final application deadline. The extended deadline with double fees will not count for qualification purposes.

  2. Incomplete Applications: Applications missing required documents, qualifications, or fee payments will not be accepted.

  3. Assistive Writer Requests: Candidates needing an assistive writer must contact the Provincial Public Service Commission at least seven days before the written examination.

  4. Interview Requirements: Candidates passing the written exam must bring original and photocopies of academic qualifications, citizenship, and relevant documents for inclusive and open categories to the interview.

  5. Application Details: On the admission card, applicants must specify the type/group they are applying for in the prescribed format.

  6. Foreign Education: Candidates with foreign qualifications must submit an equivalency certificate from the relevant authority.

  7. Examination Guidelines: Only black ink is allowed to be used to write answers. Using any other ink will result in disqualification.

  8. Syllabus: Available on the commission's website at ppsc.p2.gov.np.
