United College has opened vacancy for Head for UCEII.
The United Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation (UCEII) was established in 2022, and is supported by United Academy and United Alumni Association. It was established with a mission to encourage young minds to have a different way of thinking and help them in surviving the most vulnerable start-up stages.
The program aims to build a national-leading innovation think-tank and research platform that can explore innovation and advanced business practices while also motivating students to start their own business ventures, facilitate and promote start-up's, and help in spotting platforms for commercialization.
Position: Head for UCEII
Qualification: Masters degree, preferably Ph.D
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a start-up
Major Job Responsibilities
- To identify potential entrepreneurs among the students and faculty of United College and United Academy and to create a platform for them to emerge as successful entrepreneurs.
- To identify new business opportunities in various sectors for students and faculties.
- To focus on areas with high potential for entrepreneurship.
- To network with entrepreneurship development institutes, funding agencies, and other industry/academic institutions to support entrepreneurial initiatives.
- To ensure the timely and accurate review and approval of innovation funding proposals, including costing, pricing, governance, compliance and income classification.
- To Encourage students to innovate by providing a conducive ecosystem.
- To Encourage students to incubate their innovations in UCEII premises.
- To encourage industry to incubate the ideas in UCEII premises.
- To establish tie-ups with the industry.
