Minimum Qualifications
For Vice Chancellor and Rector
- Hold a PhD in Sanskrit Language or Sanskrit Literature from a recognized university.
- Have at least 10 years of experience in the academic field related to Sanskrit language.
- Demonstrate outstanding managerial skills and competence in academic or scholarly advancement.
- Be a Nepali citizen.
- Have completed 40 years of age.
- Possess high moral character.
For Registrar
- Hold at least a Master's degree in Sanskrit Language or Sanskrit Literature from a recognized university.
- Have at least 10 years of experience in higher education, academic administration, or research.
- Demonstrate excellent managerial and leadership skills in educational or academic development.
- Be a Nepali citizen.
- Possess high moral character.
Required Documents
For Vice Chancellor and Rector
- Proof of PhD degree in Sanskrit Language or Sanskrit Literature from a recognized university.
- Evidence of at least 10 years of academic experience related to Sanskrit language.
- Copy of the initial appointment letter.
- Copy of professor appointment letter (if applicable).
- Copies of research articles published in peer-reviewed or indexed journals (if applicable).
- A concept paper on Nepal Sanskrit University and a four-year strategic action plan for the university, not exceeding 5,000 words in total.
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
For Registrar
- Proof of Master's degree in Sanskrit Language or Sanskrit Literature from a recognized university.
- Evidence of at least 10 years of experience in higher education, academic administration, or research.
- Copy of PhD certificate (if applicable).
- Copy of the initial appointment letter.
- Copy of professor appointment letter (if applicable).
- Copies of research articles published in peer-reviewed or indexed journals (if applicable).
- A concept paper on Nepal Sanskrit University and a four-year strategic action plan for the university, not exceeding 5,000 words in total.
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
Important Instructions
- The concept paper and four-year strategic action plan must be prepared in either Nepali or Sanskrit using Unicode font (12-point size).
- The submission must be divided into two sections:
- Section A: Concept Paper
- Section B: Four-Year Strategic Action Plan
- Applicants may include their personal details only on the cover page. No identifying marks, symbols, or personal information should appear on the remaining pages of the document.
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format as specified by the Selection and Recommendation Committee.
