Per the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079, issued by the Bagmati Provincial Government and the Procedure for Filling Positions on Contract in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2079, applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill the temporary post of Heavy Driver in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Heavy Driver, First Level, First Grade

- Job Description: Tasks related to the position of Heavy Driver as defined by prevailing local laws.

Interview Details
Shortlisted candidates will receive information via email and SMS based on the decision of the Evaluation and Interview Committee according to the Procedure for Filling Positions on Contract in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2079. Additionally, interview-related information will be published in Gorkhapatra daily and on the Kathmandu Metropolitan City website kathmandu.gov.np. If candidates do not receive information via email or SMS, the information published in Gorkhapatra daily or on the official website will be considered official.
Age Limit
The age limit for male candidates must be at least 21 and not exceed 40 by the last date of application submission. The age limit for female candidates must also be at least 21 and not exceed 40 by the last date of application submission. The age limit will not apply during the double fee period.
Special Instructions
- The specified documents, including the Nepali citizenship certificate, must be scanned and uploaded in the size and format specified by the "Online Application System for Heavy Driver on Contract."
- Work experience letters or certificates from government offices, institutions, and private companies will be included in the evaluation, with a maximum consideration of 5 years.
- The work experience certificate must clearly state the period of employment. Only full years will be considered in the experience calculation; months and days beyond the year will not be counted.
- Priority will be given to residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and areas affected by waste management.
