About
Madhesh University plans to provide a wide range of courses in art, science, health, tourism, Ayurveda, law, management, education, oriental philosophy, technological disciplines, and other topics. These courses are based on the principle that progress is based on high-quality education.
The main vision of MU's creation is to build an intellectual and educational environment characterized by excellence, integrity, and production. The provincial assembly of the Madhesh Province achieved this goal by drafting the Madhesh Institution Act, which authorized the foundation and functioning of the institution. The provincial gazette states that on Baisakh 14, 2079, MU began its journey to influence the lives of countless students and make a significant contribution to the expansion and advancement of the country.
Because of its steadfast dedication to the notion of a university and competition-based education, MU is committed to consistently increasing the standard for quality in higher education. The institution's initial step towards achieving its goal is to build a learner-centric educational ecosystem. It seeks to raise the bar for local institutions of higher learning.
Objective
- Conduct various teaching, training, and research programs as prescribed for the development of higher education, manage departments and research centers, and supervise and inspect the same.
- Certify the degree to the students, trainees, or researchers who have obtained higher education from the University and award honorary degrees to specific individuals.
- Establish relationships with national and international universities or educational institutions.
- Receive financial support from national and international educational and other institutions and individuals and hold educational exchange programs in accordance with prevailing laws.
- Make necessary arrangements to award prizes, scholarships, and fellowships.
- Arrange and conduct various sports and welfare programs in the university.
- Certify the student, trainee, and researcher who obtained a degree from the constituent and affiliated campus of the University and also award honorary degrees to special individuals.
- Formulate rules and regulations as may be necessary for the University.
- Execute other necessary work for the betterment of the University and education system.
