Mirchaiya Municipality is one of the 17 municipalities in Siraha District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 59,425, comprising 29,571 males (49.8%) and 29,854 females (50.2%), with a literacy rate of 66.06%. Spanning 91.97 square kilometers, Mirchaiya Municipality exhibits the population density of 646 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 12 wards.
