UGC Scholarship for Differently-Abled, Dalit, Economically Disadvantaged, Mukta Kamalari, and Muslim-Female Students

University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced scholarships for higher education for the differently-abled, Dalit, economically disadvantaged, Mukta Kamalari, and Muslim-female students as well as children of martyrs and victims of conflict, dependent children of people who died during armed conflict and people's movements, struggles and revolutions for democratic change. 

The scholarships are available for the applicants currently studying in the first year/semester of Bachelors/Master's level, who fulfill the minimum qualification as mentioned in the directive on scholarships for differently-abled, Dalit, economically disadvantaged, Mukta Kamalari, and Muslim-female students. 

Interested applicants are requested to fill out the application form and submit it to the commission's office with the required documents within office hours by Chaitra 28, 2079 (April 11, 2023).

Required Documents

  • Photocopy of Nepali citizenship
  • Passport sized photo
  • Letter of recommendation - recommended by the relevant body. Click here to download the recommendation letter.
  • A copy of the checkbook of the account holder student's bank account (name of the bank, account number, address of the bank, etc.).
