The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) has announced a call for scholarship applications for Nepali students to study at United International University (UIU), Bangladesh.
The announcement follows a letter received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ref. No. SA-॥2082/83, dated April 28, 2026) and communicated through the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka. As per the request, Nepal has been allocated two scholarship seats at UIU.
According to the ministry, applications are being invited for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Data Science program. Out of the two seats, one is open to all applicants, while the other is reserved for female candidates, in line with the Scholarship Regulation, 2060 and the ministry’s decision dated 2083/01/17.

- Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Application:
The applicant must have passed Grade 12 and obtained the entrance result/scorecard for the Bachelor’s level Data Science program from the School of Mathematical Sciences under the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University.

- Passport information page
- Passport-size photograph
