Ministry of Labour and Employment, Foreign Employment Promotion Board, Nepal Government announces Foreign Employment Scholarship for the academic session 2078.
Important guidelines for the scholarship application
- The scholarship is given to the children of foreign-employed individuals who died, became physically disabled, or became seriously ill while working abroad.
- Students under the age of 18 who have attended community schools (from pre-primary through Class12) are eligible to apply.
Required documents
- Document of the labour approval from NISSA
- Citizenship of the applicant’s guardian
- Passport photocopy of the deceased or completely physically impaired individual
- A copy of the deceased person's death certificate
- A certificate of disclosure of disability during the course of foreign employment
- A copy of the birth certificate of the student
- Document to prove the relationship between the applicant and the foreign employed person
- Recommendation letter from the local authority
Scholarship amount details
- The scholars will be paid NRs. 8000 for the primary level and NRs. 12000 for the Secondary level.
- One scholar will be paid the annual amount for one class at a time.
