The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania - Directorate for Cultural Diplomacy, Education and Science presents its compliments to the diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest and has the honor to announce the launching of the 2023-2024 academic year Programme for the scholarships granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania to foreign citizens based on the Government Decision No. 288/1993.
According to the Programme's rules of procedure, each candidate will submit personally, between 15 December 2022- March 1, 2023, a unique online application for a scholarship.
In order to apply, candidates will have to access the online platform at https://studyinromania.gov.ro, via the Apply for MFA Scholarships button, or directly at https://scholarships studyinromania.gov.ro. Each candidate will create an account on the platform, will fill in the requested data, and upload the required documents.
Applications submitted by other means (e.g. to the registry offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education, to the c-mail addresses of the MFA employees/departments of the MFA Headquarters, to the /by Romanian diplomatic missions or foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest) will not be taken into consideration.
The results of the scholarship selection process will be announced by the e-mail on 15th of July 2023 to every candidate who applied for a scholarship.
Please note that scholarships are not awarded in the fields of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy.
