Motherland Secondary School has announced a scholarship for the academic year 2083 BS, in accordance with the government’s rule to provide scholarships to 10% of the total students.
This 10% is divided into two parts: 5% for Merit and 5% for Targeted Groups (needy and marginalized students).

Merit and Underprivileged Student Scholarship
Merit Scholarships (Based on Performance):

The mentioned scholarship will be distributed quarterly based on the results of the school's periodic examinations. Students who obtained a 4 GPA in the Class 8 Basic Level Examination and those who achieved the specified targets in the Class 9 and 10 examinations will also receive the merit scholarship. Within one week of the distribution of results, the school will issue letters to the students receiving the scholarship and publish a notice on the school's notice board, listing the positions and marks obtained by the students.
- Merit-cum-Underprivileged Student Scholarship
Even if students don't secure first or second place in class, the school will award scholarships to one male and one female student who are performing well academically and in extracurricular activities but are struggling to continue their studies at the school due to their financial situation.
Targeted Group Scholarship
This scholarship has been divided into the following points:

Scholarships are awarded based on official documentation, school evaluation, and financial need, with tiered support ranging from 10% to 100% as recorded in the EMIS system. While awards generally continue throughout a student’s tenure, maintenance is strictly contingent upon meeting diligence and discipline standards, with a formal one-month notice provided prior to any reallocation for non-compliance. Information is announced on the school notice board within one week of the academic session, with applications due within seven days for a final selection overseen by the Ward Education Committee and the Education Officer of Pokhara.

Note:
- Basic level students up to Class 10 must submit their applications for the scholarship by Baisakh 30, 2083 BS.
- Along with the application for targeted group scholarships, applicants must submit official proof/certificates issued by relevant government authorities.
- Priority will be given to students belonging to families classified as "Extremely Poor" by the Pokhara Metropolitan City.
- To fulfill the designated number of quotas, partial scholarships may also be distributed among the applicants.
- Once the final decision on scholarship distribution is made, the full list of recipient students will be posted on the school's notice board.
