The Gadhawa Rural Municipality has approved the fee structure for institutional (private) schools for the academic year 2083.

As per the decision of the Rural Municipality dated 2082/12/28, all institutional schools operating within the municipality are required to implement the following approved fees.

Additional Fees & Notes:

  • Exam Fee:
    • NPR 700 for Classes 4 to 8
    • NPR 800 for Classes 9 and 10
  • Computer Fee:
    • NPR 200 for Classes 1 to 5
    • NPR 300 for Classes 6 to 8
    • NPR 400 for Classes 9 and 10
  • Transfer Certificate Fee: NPR 1,000 (applicable for all classes upon request)

Note:

  • Schools must not charge re-admission fees from students who are already enrolled and studying.
  • The minimum salary for teachers working in schools must be fixed at NPR 19,550 starting from the academic session 2083. Additionally, all teachers must be mandatorily enrolled in the contribution-based Social Security Fund.
  • Transportation fees for students using school transport must be charged as follows:
    • Within 5 km: NPR 500
    • Within 8 km: NPR 600
    • Within 12 km: NPR 700
  • Schools must not charge any fees under headings such as sports, extracurricular activities, laboratory, school building maintenance, library, and first aid.
  • No examination fee shall be charged for students up to Grade 3.
  • For students from whom examination fees are collected, schools must arrange snacks during the examination period.
  • Without exceeding the above-mentioned fees, schools may fix minimum charges under different headings based on the economic condition of parents in their service area, as decided by the school management committee.
  • Scholarships must be compulsorily provided in accordance with:
    • Institutional School Scholarship Distribution Guidelines, 2074 (Chapter 6, Clause 6.1 (a)), and
    • Compulsory and Free Education Act, 2075 (Section 27(3))
  • Salaries and allowances of teachers and staff must be paid mandatorily through the banking system.
  • If schools are found charging fees higher than the prescribed limits under the above headings, legal action will be taken as per the law.
