Kathmandu Model SecondarY School (KMC) has once again strengthened its reputation for academic excellence with outstanding results across NEB, MBBS, and engineering entrance examinations this year.
In the latest academic achievements, 16 students from KMC secured 3.96 GPA in the National Examinations Board (NEB) examinations. Similarly, 54 students obtained full scholarship opportunities in MBBS through the Common Entrance Examination (CEE), while 67 students became eligible for full scholarship study at Institute of Engineering Pulchowk Campus. More than 450 students were selected in engineering entrance examinations, and over 250 students succeeded in MBBS admissions.
KMC students also secured remarkable achievements in BDS, Nursing, CA, BBA, Law, and other prestigious academic programs, reflecting the institution’s consistent academic performance and student-centered learning environment.
These accomplishments add another milestone to KMC’s 26-year educational journey, which began with a vision of providing quality education in Nepal. Established 26 years ago in a modest building in Bagbazar, KMC started with limited infrastructure but a strong commitment toward academic excellence and student success.
Since its early years, KMC maintained a record of excellent academic outcomes and consistently high pass rates, gradually building a distinct identity in Nepal’s education sector.
A major turning point came in 2074 B.S. when the Ministry of Education recognized KMC as the “Best School in Nepal” and honored the institution with a certificate and cash award. In the same year, KMC student Sandesh Gautam secured the top position in the MBBS entrance examination with 97 out of 100 marks. KMC students also achieved top ranks in admissions to Kathmandu University, B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, and agriculture programs.
Over the years, KMC has continued producing exceptional NEB results. The record achievements of Supriya Sharma with 92 percent and Abhishek Chaudhary with 4.00 GPA remain among the institution’s proudest academic milestones.
Beyond Nepal, KMC students have also earned full-ride scholarships to universities in the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Europe, demonstrating the institution’s growing international academic recognition.
With experienced leadership, dedicated teachers, committed staff, and hardworking students, KMC states that excellence is not merely a destination but a continuous journey. The institution says it remains committed to preserving its legacy while creating new academic milestones in the years ahead.
