On January 7, 2025, the Hult Prize at People’s Campus hosted an orientation session to introduce the prestigious program to the students. The event, led by National Community Leader Ms. Garima Shrestha, blended formality and engagement and aimed to inspire students about the opportunities the Hult Prize offers.
The session commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by Ms. Ayusha Adhikari, the former Director of the Hult Prize at People’s Campus. Then, Campus Chief Mr. Manoj Kunwar and BBA Coordinator Mr. Rajendra Raya conducted a ceremonial plant-watering activity, symbolizing growth and sustainability. The campus chief then gave an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of such initiatives for students’ holistic development.
Mr. Bikash Timsina, the current Director of the Hult Prize at People’s Campus, delivered a thoughtful welcome speech, emphasizing the objectives and vision of the program. The highlight of the event was a keynote session by Ms. Garima Shrestha, who shared her insights and expertise, engaging the audience with her experiences. A vibrant Q&A session followed, where students actively participated, seeking guidance and clarification.
As a token of gratitude, Mr. Bikash Timsina presented a memento to Ms. Garima Shrestha, acknowledging her contribution to the event. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rozim Maharjan, who expressed appreciation for the participants, organizers, and attendees.
