The Nepal Food Scientists and Technologists Association (NEFOSTA) is a distinguished and independent organization comprising Nepalese Food Scientists and Technologists. Established in 1984 in Dharan and officially registered in 1986 (Regd. No. 224/047-48, CDO office, Kathmandu), NEFOSTA operates as a non-profit entity. NEFOSTA boasts a substantial membership base consisting of over 500 dedicated individuals. Additionally, it extends its reach beyond Kathmandu, with two Regional Chapters operating in Dharan and Hetauda. Moreover, NEFOSTA is actively working towards establishing chapters in foreign countries, aiming to expand its influence and collaboration on an international scale.
