Dr. Dilli Raman Regmi was a scholar, senior politician, and a historian. He had collected many books, journals, newspapers, rare photos, and archeological objects for his study and research. Dilliraman-Kalyani Regmi Library and Museum was established in 1980 at his own residence. In the year 1981 (2037 BS), he transferred his entire property including the library and museum to the then Ministry of Education.

About Dilliraman Kalyani Regmi Memorial Library
The library is operated and managed by a committee of seven members. The library also recognizes national and international figures with Peace Award every year. Membership is required to read books and documents at the library.
