The Teacher Service Commission has published the results of a general examination conducted for a primary-level teacher post. The examination of same was held on Chaitra 19, 2078 which has been made public by the commission.
The commission has made public the open side results for 13,297 primary-level vacancies. The exam received 113,445 applications in total. According to the commission's results, the written test drew 21,466 candidates from all of Province 1's districts. Only 4,247 of the candidates passed the general subjects. In Madhesh Province, 10,109 candidates took the written exam, with only 952 passing. Likewise, just 3,789 out of 17,223 participants in Bagmati Province completed the written exam. 15,797 Gandaki Province students took part in the general examination. Only 3,606 people were able to pass the exam.
Only 3,468 students from Lumbini Province passed the written test, out of a total of 16,996. A total of 8,221 students from Karnali Province took part in the written exam. Only 1,191 of them have passed. Only 2,132 people out of 12,846 who took the written exam in the Far-western Province passed.
