Madan Puraskar Guthi has shortlisted ten books for the Madan Puraskar 2082. This year, the Guthi received a total of 298 submissions for this purpose. Established in 2012 BS (1955 AD), the Guthi has been awarding this esteemed title annually since 2013 BS.

Madan Puraskar is a literary award given annually in Nepal by Madan Puraskar Guthi for an outstanding book published in Nepali. It is considered Nepal's most prestigious literary prize. The winner will be announced by the Guthi's Annual General Assembly before Dashain.
