The National Examination Board (NEB) is preparing to publish the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082/83 by the last week of Baishakh. Once released, students will be able to check their SEE results through official platforms and educational portals such as see.edusanjal.com.

According to Jung Bahadur Aryal, Secretary of the NEB, the checking of answer sheets has already been completed, and the marks entry process is currently underway. He said that if the remaining work progresses smoothly, the Board aims to publish the results by Baishakh 29.

The Board stated that the marks entry process is expected to be completed within the next couple of days. After that, the entered data will undergo a verification process to ensure accuracy before the final publication of results.

Secretary Aryal said that the Board has been working with the goal of publishing the SEE results within one month of the completion of the examinations. He added that the current pace of work indicates the target is achievable.

Earlier, following the formation of the new government, discussions had taken place regarding the possibility of publishing the SEE results within 15 days. However, officials from both the Ministry of Education and the NEB concluded that rushing the process could increase the risk of errors. As a result, they agreed to complete the process within a maximum of one month instead.

To speed up this year's result publication process, answer sheets were checked at the examination centers themselves, and a large number of personnel were mobilized for evaluation work.

The SEE examinations were conducted from Chaitra 15 to Chaitra 21 across the country. A total of 512,421 students participated in the examinations, including 257,613 female students and 254,801 male students. Altogether, 1,966 examination centers were designated for the SEE this year.

Among them, one examination center was also established in Japan for students studying in a Nepali-medium school, where 23 students appeared in the examination.
