Information Regarding Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Results

Viewing the Results

The results can be easily accessed through websites, IVR, and SMS। Students can view and download their grade sheets by entering their symbol number and date of birth on the websites.

Grading System

According to the Letter Grading Directive 2078 (including the third amendment), the exam results will be published using the letter grading system. To achieve the minimum grade, students must obtain at least 35% marks in both theoretical and internal assessments separately. For subjects with 75 full marks in theory, a minimum of 27 marks is required. For subjects with 25 full marks in internal assessment, a minimum of 10 marks is required.

Supplementary Exams

All the candidates who participated as regular candidates in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) held from Chaitra 19, 2082, and were unable to obtain grades or were absent, can participate in a supplementary exam (Purak)/ grade increment to improve their grades. The exam will be conducted one month after the results are published, allowing students to enroll in grade 11 without having to wait another year. The results of the supplementary exam will be published within a month.

Rechecking and Revaluation

If students are dissatisfied with their published results, they can apply for rechecking and revaluation of their answer sheets. The application for rechecking can be submitted online through the respective website. After the results are published, detailed information and instructions will be available on the websites of the National Examination Board, SEE, and the National Examination Board Central Office.

Correction of Age, Name, and Surname

If there are discrepancies in a student's age, name, or surname, corrections can be made within five years of the result publication based on the admission card or a decision from the concerned Chief District Officer if the admission card also contains discrepancies. Applications for corrections should be submitted accordingly.

Missing Results

Suppose a student's result is missing for all or any subject. In that case, they should download the "Result Inquiry Form" from the SEE website, fill in the necessary details, attach a copy of the admission card, and submit it via email through the concerned Education Development and Coordination Unit or directly to the SEE Office.

Null Results

A null result does not mean the student has passed or failed. To determine the actual status, check the grade sheet. If there are no NG, Abs, or * marks, the student has been graded.

For students appearing in the SEE as supplementary candidates, grades from previously passed subjects are not entered. Therefore, the result is shown as “Null” due to incomplete subject records in this year’s examination. Once grades for all subjects are entered, the student will later receive the GPA and a complete subject-wise grade sheet from the school.

For further inquiries, students may contact the National Examinations Board.

Contact Information

For any inquiries regarding exam results, students can contact the SEE Office at 016630739 or the Information Officer at mobile number 9851340150. Regular updates can be accessed from the SEE website.
