Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has clarified that the appointment process for the vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University is underway. During a meeting with the journalists' society in Baluwatar on Falgun 8, 2080, the Prime Minister was questioned about the subject that has surfaced on social media, to which he responded, "The Vice-Chancellor appointment process is ongoing, and there is no truth to the information circulating on social media."
Emphasizing the importance of trusting credible information in journalism, he urged the general public not to form opinions based on topics circulating on social media. Regarding the recent incident in Balkumari, the Prime Minister informed that he has studied the matter and will take prompt action.
Highlighting his efforts to globally recognize Nepal during his tenure as Prime Minister, he mentioned his participation in various international forums and visits to strengthen Nepal's ties with other countries. He also recalled his election from Gorkha and expressed his focus on the overall development of the region. Additionally, the Prime Minister acknowledged the progress in the Gorkhali rubber industry and the operation of health services that had been closed for an extended period.
He concluded by stating that the government is committed to campaigns focused on governance, social justice, and economic prosperity, seeking support and collaboration from the communication sector. The Prime Minister appreciated the active role of journalists in building and developing the district and encouraged them to continue their dedication to the nation's progress.
