Mid-West University is going to award 40 people who have contributed in various fields the 'MU Award'. The university will provide awards in 15 different categories.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh said, "The award has been arranged for the first time in the history of the university, with the objective of contributing to the overall prosperity of the university in 15 disciplines of study, teaching, research, publication and so on." Speaking at a press conference organized today to inform the 11th assembly of the university, Vice-Chancellor Singh announced the awards to encourage the students, faculty, and non-teaching staff working at the university.

MU Chancellor's Award
[All-round performance in academia, ECA/CCA, R&D, and Social Works]
Award: Rs 55,000, gold medal, letter of recognition, and trophy for 1 University-wide all-round performing student at Master's degree level.
