In a move to address the concerns of students from remote areas, the Education Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has instructed all educational institutions enrolling students in Grade 11 of the Secondary Level to streamline the admission process. This action comes at the time when National Examination Board is in the final phase of publication of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results.
The initiative aims to rectify the issue of students being unable to apply for admission due to the unavailability of application forms. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Education Department, has taken note of the matter and emphasized the need for prompt action. Recognizing the importance of equal opportunities for students, the department aims to ensure that all eligible candidates are given a fair chance.
According to the official announcement, interested candidates will have a minimum of 15 days from the publicly declared date of the SEE Grade 10 examination results to submit their admission applications. The admission process for Grade 11 students will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines provided by the respective educational institutions.
Sitaram Koirla, Education Officer, expressed his commitment to facilitating a smooth admission process for students, particularly those from remote areas who have faced challenges in accessing educational opportunities.
