Hult Prize at Kathmandu University (HPKU) unfolded with grandeur, marking a significant triumph for young entrepreneurs. The Semi-Final and Grand Finale, held at KUSOM, Balkumari, and Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, respectively, captivated audiences at the end of February.

The competition, widely regarded as a catalyst for sustainable change within society, saw the participation of 13 teams vying for recognition. Ultimately, the esteemed "Dr. Fish" team clinched the title of Winner of Hult Prize at Kathmandu University - 24, amidst fierce competition.

Under the astute leadership of Campus Director Sasha Sunuwar and Deputy Campus Director Prarabda Singh Mahat, the event unfolded seamlessly, a testament to the dedicated efforts of a 30-member Organizing Committee. Months of meticulous planning paved the way for a dynamic showcase of innovative ideas and solutions.

Preceding the main event were a series of impactful initiatives designed to address pressing societal issues and empower communities. "Sambhavana: Anything is Possible" reached across five districts and six schools, emphasizing the transformative power of education. Collaborations such as "From Jeans to Dreams" provided eco-friendly school bags to underprivileged students, symbolizing hope and support.

Furthermore, HPKU conducted six virtual workshops over two months, equipping participants with invaluable skills in leadership, innovation, and project management. The workshops served as a precursor to the main event, fostering a culture of excellence and social responsibility among participants.

The success of HPKU was made possible through the generous support of sponsors and partners, including Canadian Study Center, Mahindra | Agni Group, and WWF Nepal, alongside 18 other collaborators. Media partners played a crucial role in amplifying the event's reach, ensuring its impact resonated across diverse audiences.

In essence, the Hult Prize at Kathmandu University stands as a beacon of innovation and collaboration, setting a precedent for future endeavors in fostering sustainable change. Through strategic partnerships and unwavering commitment, HPKU has empowered a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs, inspiring hope and driving positive transformation within society.
