The Hult Prize at IMS 2023-24 Challenge captivated attention with its remarkable showcase of entrepreneurial brilliance, leaving a lasting impact on IMS College. Extensive preparations over months culminated in an event that not only celebrated innovation but also instilled a spirit of entrepreneurship among participants.
The organizing team orchestrated a flawless event, backed by the Title Sponsor American Language Center and Banking Partner Laxmi Sunrise Bank, underscoring their commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship. Boasting an impressive prize pool of 4,00,000, the event garnered support from contributors like Nextlimb Infosys, Ideapreneur Nepal, Manjushree Finance Ltd, Softy Hygiene Pvt Ltd, Moneymitra, Appy Fizz, Hype Merch, Huss Nepal, Cricmandu, Ghumante Food and Coffee Hub, Real Burrst, and other valuable partners.
With 27 participating teams, each presenting groundbreaking ideas, the competition was fierce. After a rigorous selection process, 14 teams advanced to the semifinals, setting the stage for intense competition among the final 8 teams.
In an exhilarating finale, Team Sanigry emerged victorious, comprised of Sishir Bohora, Samir Mandal, and Saurav Barshing Thapa. Team Transformer, with members Bikesh Yadav, Sunil Khanal, and Khusi Mukhiya, secured the 1st runner-up title, while Team Creator, featuring Chunu Shah, Khusbu Mandal, Pratima Bharati, and Raushan Khushuwa, claimed the 2nd runner-up position.
The event also acknowledged excellence in three categories, awarding Team Creator for the Most Effective Idea, Next Inn for The Best Digitalized Idea, and Straw Hats for The Best Presenting Team. A captivating photography contest on the theme "Life on Land" featured remarkable entries, with Khusi Mukhiya, Samir Panta, and Nikita Nepal securing top honors.
Mr. Shree Krishna Kharel, Assistant Dean of Tribhuvan University, graced the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Prof Dr. Balkrishna Shrestha as the valuable Guest. The event, chaired by Mr. Amis Adhikari, the Campus Director of Hult Prize at IMS 2023-24 Challenge, was further enriched by the presence of esteemed guests from college Management: Roshan Bhushal, Roshan Bhattarai, Saroj Upadhyaya, and Pitambar Ghimire. The Founding Campus Director of Hult Prize at IMS, Bikesh Adhikari, also received recognition for his invaluable contribution.
