A total of 26,888 students have filled out the online application form to receive scholarships for Grades 11 and 12 in schools within Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), among the applicants, 16,549 are male students, 10,333 are female students, and 6 belong to other gender categories. Out of the total applications, 23,499 have already been approved.
Among the applicants, 18,996 students have applied for the Science stream, 7,271 for Management, 407 for Law, 135 for Education, and 79 for Humanities.
To assist parents and students facing difficulties with the online application process, a help desk has been established at the department. So far, 84 applications have been rejected.
Students whose names are recommended for the scholarship will not have to pay any educational fees for Grades 11 and 12.
