Musikot Municipality is one of the 6 municipalities in Western Rukum District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 34,270, comprising 16,250 males (47.4%) and 18,020 females (52.6%), with a literacy rate of 80.6%. Spanning 136.06 square kilometers, Musikot Municipality exhibits the population density of 252 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 14 wards.
