Urlabari

Urlabari Municipality is one of the 17 municipalities in Morang District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 70,908, comprising 33,356 males (47.0%) and 37,552 females (53.0%), with a literacy rate of 84.78%. Spanning 74.62 square kilometers, Urlabari Municipality exhibits the population density of 950 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Urlabari has 59 schools. Of these, 37 are private and 22 are public. The breakdown includes 43 pre-schools, 56 basic schools, and 29 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 11 offer +2 programs.
