Triyuga

Triyuga Municipality is one of the 8 municipalities in Udayapur District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 102,725, comprising 48,463 males (47.2%) and 54,262 females (52.8%), with a literacy rate of 80.03%. Spanning 547.43 square kilometers, Triyuga Municipality exhibits the population density of 188 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 16 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Triyuga has 117 schools. Of these, 46 are private and 66 are public. The breakdown includes 88 pre-schools, 115 basic schools, and 45 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 16 offer +2 programs.
