As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 84,810, comprising 41,328 males (48.7%) and 43,482 females (51.3%), with a literacy rate of 72.66%. Spanning 284.07 square kilometers, Shivaraj Municipality exhibits the population density of 299 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.
